Job summary

Interlake Dental Centre in Selkirk, Manitoba, is a full‑service dental practice serving the community. We are looking for a Dental Hygienist to join our team delivering preventative hygiene services and patient education.

You will assess, plan, and perform scaling, root planing, polishing, fluoride, sealants, and whitening, while building patient loyalty through personalized care. Required: Diploma or Degree in Dental Hygiene, current registration, and CPR certification; legally able to work in

Qualifications

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required.
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required.
• Valid CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care.
• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients.
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling.
• Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour.

About You:
