Job summary

Affinity Dental in Winnipeg is seeking a licensed Dental Hygienist to join our patient-focused team. You will provide comprehensive preventive hygiene services, including scaling, root planning, polishing, fluoride, sealants and whitening, while educating patients on oral health and preventive care.

Key requirements include a Dental Hygiene Diploma, active registration with the provincial board, and valid CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required.
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required.
• Valid CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care.
• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planing, polishing, topical fluoride, sealants and whitening to patients.
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling.
• Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients' expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour.
