Job summary

Affinity Dental in Winnipeg seeks a dedicated Dental Hygienist to deliver preventive hygiene services and educate patients on oral health. You’ll plan, perform scaling, polishing, fluoride treatments, sealants, and whitening as part of routine care while focusing on patient comfort and education.

The role requires a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree, current registration with the provincial body, and CPR certification, with a commitment to professional ethics and patient-centred service.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree is required.
• Current registration as a Dental Hygienist in good standing with the provincial regulatory body is required.
• Valid CPR certification is required.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Appropriately assess, plan, implement and evaluate services for patient care
• Perform all aspects of clinical preventative hygiene services including scaling, root planning, polishing, topical fluoride, pit and fissure sealants and whitening to patients
• Serve as an oral health educator by introducing new preventative techniques and counselling
• Establish and retain patient loyalty by delivering a tailored experience based on the patients’ expectations, while consistently maintaining ethical and professional behaviour
