Job summary

Willis College Corporation in Ottawa is seeking a Dental Assisting Clinic Coordinator to manage the clinical operations, maintain facilities, and ensure health and safety compliance while delivering both theory and practical instruction.

You will supervise lab spaces, coordinate with dentists and hygienists for student evaluations, and secure practicum placements, supporting CDAC accreditation prep and IPAC/WHMIS/SDS compliance.

Qualifications

• Certified Level II Dental Assistant with NDAEB credential.
• 3–5 years of practical dental clinic experience.
• Ontario membership with ODAA or applicable provincial body.
• IPAC, vaccination, and Health and Safety clearances including JHSC involvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the dental clinic, including inventory and lab space organization.
• Conduct monthly equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance/repairs.
• Ensure clinic manuals comply with IPAC, WHMIS, SDS and provincial oversight.
• Deliver dental assisting curriculum and supervise theory and practical sessions.
• Secure practicum placements and support student evaluations.
