River Oaks Dental in North Oakville is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our patient‑focused team. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists and hygienists, take dental X‑rays, perform sterilization, update records, and support scheduling to ensure smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with the provincial regulatory body or association.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour.

• Tuesday - Thursday: 8:30 am - 5:15 pm
• Possible Friday hours: 8:30 am - 3:00 pm

The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$28.00 - $30.00/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.
