River Oaks Dental in Oakville, Ontario is seeking a Part-time Dental Assistant Level II to join our patient-focused team. Prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists and hygienists, and manage charting and infection control while delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

The ideal candidate is registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with the provincial regulatory body and has prior dental assisting experience. Competitive pay and a supportive, flexible work environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with provincial regulatory body or association.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour
