Job summary

River Oaks Dental in North Oakville, Ontario, is hiring a Dental Assistant to join our patient‑focused team. The role involves preparing treatment rooms, assisting dentists and hygienists, taking X‑rays, and maintaining infection control to ensure a smooth workflow.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or certified as a Dental Assistant with your provincial regulatory body is required.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour

• Tuesday - Thursday: 8:30 am - 5:15 pm

The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$28.00 - $30.00/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.
