Job summary

EJC Dentistry in Hamilton, Ontario is seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to support the clinical team and ensure a smooth, comfortable patient experience at every visit.

You will prepare rooms, take dental X-rays, assist dentists and hygienists, maintain infection control, update patient charts, and educate patients on oral care. We offer growth opportunities, a supportive team, and a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Must be registered or certified as a Dental Assistant with your provincial regulatory body.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.

Schedule:

• Monday: 10:00am - 5:00pm.
• Tuesday: 10:00am - 7:00pm.
• Wednesday: 11:00am - 7:00pm.
• Thursday: 10:00am - 6:00pm.
• Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm.

The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$24-$28/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.
