Job summary

EJC Dentistry in Canada is seeking a registered Dental Assistant to join our friendly clinical team. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists, and help deliver high-quality patient care in a welcoming environment.

This full-time position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with varied hours, opportunities for growth, and strict IPAC standards to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Support scheduling, patient flow and administrative tasks
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
• Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour

Schedule:Full-Time

Monday: 10:00am - 5:00pm

Tuesday: 10:00am - 7:00pm

Wednesday: 11:00am - 7:00pm

Thursday: 10:00am - 6:00pm

Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm

The wage for this Dental Assistant position is $24-$28/hour depending on skills, experience, and location.
