CarlingwoodDental Centre in Ottawa, ON is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our busy, well-established practice. You will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists, take X-rays, and help with patient education while ensuring top-quality care and a smooth workflow.

Formación

• Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required.
• Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
• NDAEB certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
• Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
• Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
• Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
• Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
• Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.

Our modern facility includes 14 operatories and advanced dental technology, allowing our team to provide comprehensive dental services including preventive, restorative, cosmetic, and emergency care. Schedule:

Full time 4-5 days a week

1 evening shift until 7:00pm

The wage for this DentalAssistantposition is$28-$30/hourdepending on skills, experience, and location.
