Job summary

Deep River Dental, formerly Gage Dentistry, is recruiting a Dental Administrator to welcome patients, manage appointments, billing, and records in our Deep River, Ontario clinic. We operate with modern technology and a focus on patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Dental Administration experience is required.
• Experience with dental software programs is required.
• Clinical background is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients upon arrival, creating a warm and positive first impression
• Optimize the daily appointment schedule to ensure full utilization with minimal gaps
• Effectively manage the recall system and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records
• Handle incoming patient calls and inquiries, including appointment scheduling, confirmations, changes, and cancellations
• Process referral letters and other patient correspondence from providers; organize, manage, and file all patient records and charts
• Proactively manage potential cancellations and address objections to encourage patients to keep their appointments
