Job summary

Montrose Dental in Niagara Falls is seeking an organized dental administrator to welcome patients and keep the front desk running smoothly. The role requires at least one year of dental administration experience and comfort with appointment scheduling and patient billing.

You will work daytime hours with regular shifts, using Open Dental software. We offer a competitive hourly wage and a comprehensive rewards package including RRSP matching and wellness perks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Dental Administration experience is required.
• Experience with Open Dental software is an asset, experience with dental software is required.
• Clinical background is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist patients upon arrival, creating a warm and positive first impression
• Optimize the daily appointment schedule to ensure full utilization with minimal gaps
• Effectively manage the recall system and maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records
• Handle incoming patient calls and inquiries, including appointment scheduling, confirmations, changes, and cancellations
• Process referral letters and other patient correspondence from providers; organize, manage, and file all patient records and charts
• Proactively manage potential cancellations and address objections to encourage patients to keep their appointments
• Complete patient billing following treatment, process payments, submit insurance claims, and respond to fee inquiries in a professional and positive manner
