Job summary

Amarr Garage Doors in Calgary is seeking a delivery driver to provide safe, timely deliveries and assist in warehouse tasks when not driving.

The role requires a valid driver's license, 1+ year of delivery driving experience, and ability to lift 50–75 lbs in a non-climate controlled environment; Monday–Friday 7am–4pm with $28–$30/hour pay, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license is required.
• Air Brake/“Q” Endorsement strongly preferred or ability to obtain.
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience required; 2+ years preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience driving box trucks or similar.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide deliveries to customers in a safe and timely manner while following Amarr policies.
• Keep driver's certification documents ready for display at all times.
• Assist in finishing production orders in warehouse when not driving.
• Load & unload customer shipments and inspect for damage.
• Unload and receive incoming product accurately.
• Meet driver regulations and complete internal Driver Training Program.
• Motor Vehicle report must meet Amarr’s driver standards.

In this position you will :

Provide deliveries to customers in a safe andtimelymanner while strictly followingAmarr’spolicies spelled out in the Driver Handbook (including pre-trip, inspections,log books, safe driving, etc.).

Keep all drivers certification documents ready and available for display at all times.

Assistin the completion of production ordersin warehouse when not driving.

Accurately load & unload customers. (Inspect for damaged materials).

Unload and accurately receive incomingproduct.

Requirements

Valid driver's license(required).

The Details

This position is Monday -Fridayfrom 7am–4pm, however flexibility isrequiredin case early or late deliveriesareneeded. The pay rate is $28-30/hrbased on experience..
