Job summary

Canada Post is seeking an Officer, Delivery Services (Urban Planning) to design safe, cost-efficient delivery and addressing solutions for a designated region in Richmond, BC. You will guide planning and implementation of new services and work with municipal authorities and developers.

The role requires advanced data analysis, strong communication, and experience with planning software. A permanent driver’s license and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary certificate, diploma or degree in urban planning, GIS, graphic design, rural planning or related discipline.
• 2+ years experience in delivery/logistics or urban planning roles to support planning and execution.
• Strong data analytics, Microsoft Office advanced skills including Pivot tables and Excel.
• Experience with SAP and other planning software; ability to manipulate and present data clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop addressing and delivery plans for designated regions.
• Coordinate with municipal planning officials and developers to reflect Canada Post requirements.
• Plan and manage new points of call, addresses, and delivery modes; oversee site installations.
• Ensure high quality work through contractor oversight and timely completion.
• Lead national delivery service projects and communicate with contractors and authorities.
