Job summary

Lumberworld Central Builders Victoria is seeking a full-time Delivery Truck Driver with proven crane experience to service Greater Victoria and Vancouver Island. You’ll join a supportive crew, operate well-maintained equipment, and enjoy the security of working for a growing company with deep local roots.

Responsibilities include operating Class 3 trucks with HIAB/crane, loading/unloading materials, and maintaining daily delivery records while maintaining safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years driving experience (delivery and crane work preferred).
• Class 3 license with Air Brake Endorsement; Class 1 an asset.
• HIAB/truck-mounted crane experience.
• Valid crane operation certification.
• Strong safety awareness and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Physically capable of lifting/moving heavy building materials.
• Professional, dependable, customer-focused with good communication.
• Knowledge of Victoria area routes is a plus.
• Clean driving abstract.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery trucks (Class 3 or higher) with HIAB/crane to deliver lumber and materials.
• Load and unload materials with precision and ensure secure transport.
• Deliver with a smile and be a key face of the business to customers.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and paperwork.
• Pitch in around the yard, organise inventory, assist crew, and keep operations flowing smoothly.
