Job summary

Lumberworld Central Builders Victoria is seeking a full-time Delivery Truck Driver with flatbed experience to deliver building materials across Greater Victoria and Vancouver Island. You’ll join a supportive crew, operate well-maintained equipment, and enjoy the security of working for a growing company with deep local roots.

You’ll load and unload materials, perform vehicle inspections, keep delivery records, and assist in yard operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in all weather.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of Victoria area routes is a plus.
• Forklift experience/training is preferred but training is available.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery trucks (Class 5) to deliver lumber and building materials.
• Load and unload materials with precision and secure transport.
• Deliver with a smile and represent the company to customers.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Keep accurate records of deliveries and paperwork.
• Assist around the yard, organize inventory, and keep operations flowing.
