Job summary

Roofmart, Canada's national distributor for Exterior Building Supply, is seeking an enthusiastic delivery driver to safely load, transport and deliver products to customers. You will maintain clean, organized yard and trucks while upholding health and safety regulations.

This full-time role requires valid Class 3 CDL or AZ/DZ with clean driving record, HIAB ticket, and ability to lift 80-100 lbs. Competitive benefits and RRSP match are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have valid insurance acceptable Class 3 CDL and ability to provide current driving abstract (West)
• Must have valid insurable acceptable AZ/DZ license and clean driving abstract (East)
• Must have valid HIAB crane ticket
• Load securement training (can be provided)
• Fall Protection/Working at Heights Training - an asset (can be provided)
• First Aid Certificate - an asset (can be provided)
• Previous Forklift/Moffett training - an asset (can be provided)
• Previous Truck Driver and Operator experience - Preferred
• Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs repeatedly
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset
• Authorized to work in Canada

Responsibilities

• Safely load, move and deliver product
• Perform pre-operational inspections, maintenance checklists, clean and lubricate the crane
• Maintain clean and organized work environments in the store, yard, and trucks
• Strictly adhere to and comply with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
• Other duties as required
