Intercity Packers Meat & Seafood in Richmond, BC, is hiring a Delivery Driver to ensure safe and timely delivery of meat and seafood to customers. Reporting to the Transportation Supervisor, you will perform pre-trip inspections, manage documentation and temperature control, and handle customer inquiries with professionalism.

Requirements include a Class 5 unrestricted driver’s license, ability to lift up to 80 lbs, weekend availability, and prior experience driving larger trucks.

Qualifications

• Class 5 unrestricted drivere2s license required.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Weekend availability.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Experience driving a 3- or 5-ton truck preferred.
• Basic understanding of cold chain processes.
• Basic understanding of technology a plus.
• Knowledge of the food industry helpful.
• Familiarity with lower mainland routes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver meat and seafood products safely and professionally.
• Complete pre-truck inspection forms (tires, fluids).
• Ensure truck has necessary tools for the route.
• Maintain required refrigerated temperatures.
• Document proof of delivery and temperature; log deliveries.
• Handle customer complaints and returns.
• Follow RoadNet from Gordon Food Services.
