Cool Dispatch is seeking an dependable Delivery Driver for Mainland operations. You will be the face of the company, responsible for safe, on-time deliveries of temperature-sensitive goods across the Lower Mainland.

Qualifications

• BC Class 5 license with clean driving record.
• Delivery/courier or refrigerated transport experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable using GPS and digital dispatch tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate refrigerated vans or light trucks to deliver across the Lower Mainland.

Job Title: Delivery Driver (Mainland Operations)

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, professional Delivery Driver to join our Mainland team. You will be the face of Cool Dispatch, responsible for the safe and timely delivery of temperature-sensitive goods across the Lower Mainland. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver who understands the importance of maintaining the cold chain and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Safe Transportation: Operate company refrigerated vans or light trucks to deliver goods to residential and commercial addresses throughout the Lower Mainland.

Cold-Chain Management: Monitor and maintain vehicle temperature settings to ensure the integrity of perishable cargo (frozen, chilled, or fresh).

Route Optimization: Follow optimized delivery schedules provided by dispatch while using local geographical knowledge to navigate traffic and construction.

Loading & Unloading: Safely load and organize cargo to prevent damage and ensure efficient drop-offs.

Professional Service: Act as a brand ambassador, providing friendly and professional service during every customer interaction.

Documentation: Use digital dispatch tools to capture proof of delivery (POD), update delivery statuses in real-time, and maintain accurate mileage and fuel logs.

Vehicle Care: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs immediately.

Qualifications & Requirements

Licensing: Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract.

Experience: Previous experience in delivery, courier services, or refrigerated transport is preferred but not required.

Physical Ability: Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and move in and out of a delivery vehicle frequently.

Tech Savvy: Comfortable using GPS, smartphone apps, and digital dispatch software.

Reliability: Strong time-management skills and a commitment to maintaining a consistent schedule.

Knowledge: Excellent familiarity with the roads and neighborhoods of the Lower Mainland.
