Job summary

Save-On-Foods is hiring a Delivery Driver in Fort McMurray, AB. You will deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide exceptional customer-first service from the store to the customer's door.

You will work with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve recovery issues (returns, refunds). Maintain a safe vehicle and meet operational standards, with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and travel across shifts.

Qualifications

• Valid, full AB Class 5 driver's license and clean abstract.
• Experience in a customer service role.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries in a fully equipped van and provide exceptional customer-first service.
• Coordinate with online shopping team and customer service center for recovery situations (returns, refunds, etc.).
• Achieve operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operate the delivery vehicle safely in all weather and adhere to road rules.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle's cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are hiring for a Delivery Driver at our Save-On-Foods locations in Fort McMurray, AB.

You will be responsible for:

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.

You have:

• A valid, full class 5 provincial driver's license from AB.
• A clean driver's abstract.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing. Must be able to travel and make deliveries throughout the day and evening in all weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.
