Job summary

Save-On-Foods is seeking a Delivery Driver for the Duncan, BC location. You will deliver groceries in a van, ensuring exceptional customer service while coordinating with online shopping and customer service teams.

The role requires a BC Class 5 license, a clean driving record, Serving It Right certification, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Proficiency with GPS and mobile devices is expected. Benefits and training opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• A valid, full BC Class 5 driver’s license.
• A clean driver’s abstract.
• A current Serving It Right certification or willing to obtain.
• Experience in a customer service-related role.
• A strong work ethic and “let’s get it done” attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, bending, climbing, and pushing.
• Proficiency in using mobile technology, including GPS applications and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Delivering groceries in a fully equipped van and providing exceptional customer-first service.
• Working with the online shopping team and customer service center to resolve customer service recovery situations involving returns, refunds, etc.
• Achieving operational standards for the Online Shopping Department.
• Operating the delivery vehicle safely adhering to the rules of the road.
• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to a high standard of cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Other duties as assigned.
