Job summary

Purolator is seeking a Delivery Driver to join their team in Sudbury, ON. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class G Driver's License with a clean driving history and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Responsibilities include picking up and delivering packages to meet daily schedules, scanning items, and resolving issues with Dispatch and customers. Daily pre- and post-trip inspections are required, with escalation for any inspection failures.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School.
• Valid Class G driver's license and clean driving abstract.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.

Our client, Purolator is seeking a Delivery Driver to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a valid Class G Driver's License for a minimum of 3 years with a clean driving history.

Job Title: Delivery Driver (Courier)
Location: Sudbury, ON
Pay Range: $22.18/hour ($25.12/hour after at 3 months)
Shift: 40 hours/week - flexibility Sunday to Saturday

What’s the Job?

• Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick-up and delivery schedules
• Scan packages / mail as it is received, delivered, or returned to the depot at the end of the day
• Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic-Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E-DVIR)
• When inspections fail, the Courier advises the unit manager

What’s Needed?

• Completion of High School
• Class G driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract to drive delivery vehicles.
• Ability to lift/lower up to 70lbs
• Availability to work 40 hours/week on a flexible schedule Sunday to Saturday.
