Job summary

Purolator Inc. in Timmins, ON is seeking a part‑time Courier to pick up and deliver customer packages, ensuring on‑time service and proper documentation.

You will scan packages, resolve issues on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers, and perform daily vehicle inspections. Requirements include a High School diploma, vocational courses, and a valid Class 5 driver's license; 3 years of driving experience and a clean abstract are preferred.

Qualifications

• Pick up and deliver customer packages to meet daily pick‑up and delivery schedules
• Scan packages / mail as it is received, delivered, or returned to the depot at the end of the day
• Resolve problems as they arise while on the road in collaboration with Dispatch and customers
• Conduct daily pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections using a package scanner and electronic‑Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (E‑DVIR)

• Location: Chapleau, ON
• Shift: Monday – Friday 11am-3pm, 20 hours per week
• The Courier picks up and delivers customer packages to meet daily pick‑up and delivery schedules and resolves problems as they arise.

Responsibilities

• Scan packages / mail as it is received, delivered, or returned to the depot at the end of the day

Education
