Job summary

Fresh Direct Produce in Calgary seeks an experienced delivery driver for full-time work. You will deliver and pick up produce across Calgary, Edmonton, and area locations, while maintaining excellent customer service and timely communication with the team.

Required is a Class 3 driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and reliable, hard-working conduct. Prior produce industry experience is preferred. An annual bonus and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service and reliable work ethic.
• Experience in produce industry preferred.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Possess a Class 3 driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Deliver produce daily in Calgary, Edmonton, and Lethbridge areas.
• Pickup returns from customers and suppliers.
• Assist with loading and unloading of products.
• Collect payments and issue receipts during delivery trips.
• Perform daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and report faults.

Our drivers are our ambassadors for our customers. They deliver and pick up produce from customers and suppliers, and they also support our team by communicating vital and time sensitive information back to our team. Most importantly, they provide the best customer service possible.

Responsibilities include:

• Daily delivery of produce in Calgary, Edmonton, and Lethbridge area
• Pick up returns from customers and products from suppliers
• Help load and unload products
• Collect payments and issue receipts and credit notes during delivery trips
• Perform daily pre-trip inspection and report any faults to supervisor

Qualifications include:

• Possess a Class 3 driver's license
• Previous related experience (preferably from the produce industry) preferred
• Capable of lifting upto 50lbs
• Excellent customer service
• Strong communication skills with colleagues and customers
• Must be reliable, responsible, and hard working
