Job summary

Guillevin International is hiring a Delivery Driver in Barrie, Ontario. This part-time, hourly position involves daytime shifts from Monday to Friday, delivering to a known customer base, with opportunity for advancement.

Candidates should have delivery experience, a valid Class 5 driver’s license, and strong people skills, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Join a major Canadian distributor serving electrical, lighting, renewable energy, and automation sectors.

Responsibilities

• Make note of the day’s scheduled deliveries and deadlines.

• Assist warehouse personnel to deliver orders on time.

Valid driver’s license (Class 5). Someone with good people skills who enjoys having a personal relationship with customers. Able to lift up to 50 pounds and has due regard for safe working practices.

Here’s a typical day:

• Make note of the day’s scheduled deliveries and deadlines.
• Work closely with warehouse personnel to ensure that the delivery route and load organization are fully optimized.
• Be proactive and deal with route and itinerary changes.
• Make sure that everything has been delivered to the customer’s satisfaction before leaving the premises.
• Assist warehouse personnel in order to be able to deliver the orders on time.
