Job summary

Guillevin is seeking a Delivery Driver in Barrie, Ontario for daytime, part-time work. You will manage scheduled deliveries, coordinate with the warehouse, and adjust routes as needed to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Delivery experience is required.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and follow safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Make note of the day’s scheduled deliveries and deadlines.
• Work closely with warehouse personnel to optimize the route and load.
• Be proactive with route and itinerary changes.
• Ensure everything is delivered to the customer’s satisfaction before leaving the premises.
• Assist warehouse personnel to deliver orders on time.

Here’s a Typical Day

• Make note of the day’s scheduled deliveries and deadlines.
• Work closely with warehouse personnel to ensure that the delivery route and load organization are fully optimized.
• Be proactive and deal with route and itinerary changes.
• Make sure that everything has been delivered to the customer’s satisfaction before leaving the premises.
• Assist warehouse personnel in order to be able to deliver the orders on time.
