Job summary

Anderson Last Mile in Edmonton, Alberta is seeking a Delivery Associate to join our team and safely deliver packages across Edmonton and surrounding areas.

You will drive a commercial vehicle, load/unload, use handheld devices, and provide excellent customer service in all seasons. Training provided.

Starting wage is $25.50 per hour with comprehensive health and dental benefits and a $500 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates. We operate 7 days a week with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of delivery driver and/or customer service experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Class 5 driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Able to lift packages up to 22.5 kg (50 lbs) with or without accommodation.
• Able to get in and out of the van and walk stairs during a 10-hour shift.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate a commercial vehicle with a rated capacity of 910 kg or more.
• Use a handheld device for routing information and customer delivery information.
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area.
• Load and unload packages to be delivered.
• Enthusiastically represent our dedication to accuracy, safety, and customer service.

Duties

• Use a hand held device for routing information and customer delivery information
• Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area
• Load and unload packages to be delivered
• Enthusiastically and responsibly represent our company's dedication to accuracy, safety, and excellence in customer service

Hours of Work, Schedules & Training

• Start time approximately 9:30 AM
• Up to 10 hour shifts
• We deliver 7days a week
• Comprehensive delivery skills and safety training provided
