Job summary

Calgary Co-op is hiring a Deli Utility Clerk to ensure friendly customer service, a safe operation, and compliance with all policies and standards. You will stock displays, face products, and maintain shelf integrity while supporting the Deli team. The role requires Grade 9 or an acceptable combination of education and experience, with bakery retail experience.

Qualifications

• Grade 9 or acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Bakery retail or related retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides customer service and maintains positive customer relations.
• Stocks displays and faces products; keeps shelves organized.
• Handles merchandise, ensures price integrity and substitutions.
• Performs general cleanup and keeps department neat and clean.
• Follows OH&S, Food Safety and environmental policies.
• Reports repair needs and maintains equipment.
• Assists in organizing and conducting inventory.
• Prepares deli platters and operates till when required.
