Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused Deli Attendant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service while preparing and serving fresh food and beverages in a fast-paced deli environment. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to food safety standards, and the ability to work flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Process customer transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash, debit, and credit card payments.
• Assist customers with menu selections and product information.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming service area.

Food Preparation

• Prepare sandwiches, paninis, wraps, and other deli items according to company standards.
• Operate and clean panini press and other food preparation equipment safely.
• Prepare and serve hot dogs and other hot food items.
• Prepare specialty beverages, including milkshakes and other menu drinks.
• Ensure food is presented attractively and served promptly.

Food Safety & Sanitation

• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of food preparation, service, and storage areas.
• Monitor product freshness and rotate inventory as required.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

General Duties

• Stock and replenish food, beverage, and supply inventory.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
