Job summary

The role requires a B.Arch or M.Arch, 10+ years of practice, provincial registration, and Secret Level clearance, with a track record of projects over $25 million.

Qualifications

• B.Arch or M.Arch from accredited program; 10+ years architectural experience.
• Minimum 5 years in defence projects.
• Registration with provincial regulatory board and Secret Level clearance.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality projects for private sector clients.
• Develop criteria, scope of services, detailed work plans, drawing lists, schedules, and resource requirements over the project lifecycle.
• Push the boundaries of design while meeting client and end-user needs; participate in stakeholder meetings, create design concepts and presentation material.
• Lead, motivate, and manage the project team to produce successful design and construction documentation.
• Coordinate with project consultants (electrical, mechanical, structural).
• Resolve complex design and technical issues.
• Manage client relationships and actively develop these throughout the project process.
• Ensure projects are delivered effectively through resource management and milestones.
• Undertake site reviews and construction administration.
