The Dean ensures excellence in teaching and learning is achieved and creates a culture of research and scholarship for students, faculty, and staff.The Dean, Centre for Teaching, Learning and Scholarship liaises with internal and external stakeholders, provides guidance to key polytechnic and academic committees, and carries out other roles and projects as directed by the Vice President Academic and Student Experience.Required QualificationsAs the Dean, you will possess at a minimum a relevant master's degree from a recognized institution plus 5-7 years of related experience in adult education and lifelong learning, a PhD from a recognized institution is preferred. You will have at a minimum 10 years' experience, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership role in preferably in a post-secondary environment, including direct supervision of faculty and staff (recruitment, selection, and performance coaching). You will have demonstrated change leadership and effective implementation of strategy and tolerance for ambiguity and reasonable risk taking.
