Job summary

Kuehne+Nagel Montreal-Nord, QC is seeking a Distribution Center Shift Supervisor to join our Contract Logistics team. The role oversees daily operations, ensuring KPI-driven performance and safe, compliant execution within a 4PL setup.

Based on site in Montreal (Bd Albert-Hudon), the supervisor coordinates staffing, shift handovers, and rapid issue resolution while driving continuous improvement across processes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Supervisory leadership and team coordination.
• Knowledge of KPI tracking, SOP adherence, and safety standards.
• Ability to identify and implement process improvements.
• Root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day execution and shift performance within assigned area.
• Act as on-floor representative for the 4PL model and ensure staffing and skill coverage.
• Promote safety, quality, and environmental standards (QSHE) across operations.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve operational issues affecting service and productivity.
• Track KPIs, participate in daily meetings and handovers, and provide clear performance feedback.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure updated SOPs are followed by the 4PL partner.
