Job summary

Walmart Maple DC is seeking an Operations Manager to optimize product flow, ensuring timely and accurate store fulfillment. You will guide area leads, translate processes and systems into daily actions to meet production KPIs across receiving, order-filling and shipping.

Responsibilities include establishing SOPs, coaching Team Leaders, monitoring KPIs and budgets, coordinating with HR on performance issues, and driving efficiency improvements to service levels for Walmart stores nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production daily to ensure productive, safe, and cost-efficient operations, coordinating with the onsite Production Support team and Team Leaders.
• Establish area-specific SOPs and ensure staff are trained; review reports and documentation for accuracy.
• Set and communicate departmental objectives; provide direction, support, and coaching to Team Leaders.
• Monitor KPIs and productivity reports; devise action plans to address substandard performance.
• Collaborate with HR to address employee performance issues per policies.
• Review budgets and staffing; optimize resource allocation to meet forecasted needs.
• Attend planning meetings with other Area Managers/DCs; facilitate open two-way communication.
• Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency of the department.
