Job summary

VF Corporation is seeking a dedicated forklift operator for our Brampton Distribution Centre. You will operate MHE, perform pre-shift inspections, secure loads, and palletize cartons following SOPs in a fast-paced environment.

Role requires good English communication, ability to read shipping labels, and reliable attendance. The job involves lifting up to 50 lbs, working on multiple shifts, and supporting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid forklift certification is required.
• Good verbal communication skills in English required.
• Ability to read English information on RF devices, cartons or shipping labels.
• Demonstrated safe work record and reliability.
• Strong attendance and punctuality history.

Responsibilities

• Operate all material handling equipment safely and efficiently to meet productivity and quality targets.
• Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report issues to supervisor.
• Secure loads to pallets or gaylords before transport within the DC.
• Place cartons on mesh decks and onto pallets per SOPs.
• Retrieve and palletize cartons from racking as per SOPs.
• Move pallets to drop zones and complete systemic transactions.
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and related tasks as needed.
• Communicate with supervisors and drivers via radio; support other duties as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to all SOPs.
