Job summary

VF Corporation is seeking a Forklift Driver for the Brampton Distribution Centre to operate all material handling equipment safely and efficiently, meet productivity standards, and support daily distribution tasks. You will perform pre-shift inspections, secure loads, label and wrap pallets, communicate with supervisors and drivers, and work with a team in a fast-paced environment.

A high school diploma and valid certification are required, along with good English communication and reliable

Qualifications

Good verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to read pertinent information in English on screens, pick tickets or labels.
Demonstrated attendance and punctuality.
Ability to work well with minimal supervision in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

Operate all material handling equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently while meeting productivity and quality standards.
Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report issues.
Secure loads on pallets or gaylords before transport.
Place cartons onto mesh decks and retrieve them from racking as per SOPs.
Transport pallets to drop zones and complete system transactions.
Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and related tasks as needed.
Communicate with Supervisor or Team Lead and other Drivers via radio.
Other duties as assigned.
