Job summary

VF Corporation is hiring for a Driver - Day Shift in Brampton, Canada. This role requires operating all material handling equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently, while meeting productivity and quality standards.

You will manage loads, secure pallets, and perform related warehouse tasks across multiple SOP-driven steps. The position emphasizes safety, attendance, and flexibility to work in various departments (Inbound, Processing, Shipping).

Qualifications

• Good verbal communication skills in English required.
• Ability to read pertinent information in English that is found on computer or RF device screens, vendor cartons, pick tickets or shipping labels.
• Demonstrated successful track record of working safely.
• Demonstrated record of excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Flexibility and team focus when asked to perform other duties as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate all material handling equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently while meeting productivity and quality expectations/ standards
• MHE includes the Order Picker, Reach, Single and Double-walkies and lift truck
• Complete the pre-shift equipment inspection process and immediately report any issues or concerns to Supervisor or Team Lead
• Ensure all loads are properly secured to the pallet or within the gaylord before transporting goods throughout the DC
• Place cartons onto mesh decks in the racking as per the standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Retrieve cartons from the racking and place onto a pallet as per the SOPs
• Place pallets into the various drop zones and P&D locations and complete all systemic transactions
• Retrieve empty pallets and full cardboard gaylords and transport as per the SOPs
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing and other miscellaneous tasks as needed
• Communicate with Supervisor or Team Lead, as well as other Drivers, on the radio
• Other duties as assigned
