Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Good verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to read pertinent information in English on labels, tickets or screens.
• Proven track record of working safely and arriving on time.
• Willing to work in other departments if required.
• Distribution/warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate all material handling equipment (MHE) safely to meet productivity and quality targets.
• MHE includes the Order Picker, Reach, Single and Double-walkies and lift truck.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report issues.
• Secure loads to pallets or gaylords during transport.
• Place cartons onto mesh decks and retrieve from racks per SOPs.
• Drive pallets to drop zones and complete system transactions.
• Label, sort, wrap, pack, and perform related tasks as needed.
• Communicate with Supervisor/Team Lead and other drivers by radio.
• Other duties as assigned.
