Job summary

RONA in Surrey, BC is seeking a warehouse associate to assemble customer orders, stock the warehouse with an RF handheld scanner, and operate material handling equipment. You will promote teamwork, follow safety standards, and support multiple departments to serve customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in machine operation is an asset.
• Familiarity with voice picking technology is an asset.

• Ability to perform tasks involving stretching, bending, lifting, and carrying medium to heavy products.

Responsibilities

• Utilize a voice pick headset and material handling equipment to assemble customer orders accurately.
• Use an RF handheld scanner to restock the warehouse efficiently.
• Operate various material handling equipment (center rider, pallet jack, reach truck, order picker, lift truck, dock stocker).
• Promote teamwork and contribute to the organization’s success with a positive attitude.
• Adhere to RONA policies and uphold core values.
• Support various departments to serve customers effectively.
• Assist partner Distribution Centers as needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow warehouse safety standards.
• Perform facility upkeep tasks (cleaning, tidying, inventory support, light maintenance).
• Handle merchandise up to 50lbs with team-lift for heavier items.
