Job summary

Lyft Canada is seeking a Senior Business Systems Lead for Payroll & Time (Dayforce) to own requirements and direct the implementation partner through the Dayforce migration. You will ensure country-specific rules are reflected and sign-off with Payroll Ops and Legal.

Role demands governance, multi-country transformation, and strong stakeholder management to align Dayforce with Workday/Oracle ERP integrations. Hybrid in-office role in Toronto.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of functional payroll and time tracking systems experience with Dayforce.
• Governance frameworks and vendor management as product/service owner, not just a project.
• Hands-on integration knowledge linking payroll/time to upstream HCM and ERP/finance.
• Proven internal ownership of system integrator delivery and vendor accountability.
• Deep payroll domain knowledge: earnings, deductions, tax, multi-country compliance.
• Translate business policy and legal terms into system requirements.
• Strong root-cause troubleshooting across complex payroll/time scenarios.
• Experience leading multi-country, multi-phase transformation programs.
• Excellent stakeholder management bridging technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Own Requirements and Direct the Implementation Partner; act as the internal functional owner for Dayforce payroll and time migration.
• Translate payroll policy and statutory requirements into actionable technical specifications.
• Validate vendor configurations against country-specific rules with sign-off from Payroll Ops and Legal.
• Escalate and balance trade-offs between Payroll Ops, Legal, and vendor teams, ensuring compliance interpretation.
• Partner with Program Management to identify and mitigate risks across migration waves.
• Lead end-to-end migration waves across 12–15 countries, with cross-functional stakeholders.
