Job summary

FedEx in Brampton is seeking a Seasonal Forklift Operator to safely operate basic powered material handling equipment for receipt, storage, and fulfillment of product, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.

Responsibilities include full-case order picking, pallet handling, quality checks, loading/unloading, pallet building, shrink wrap, and inventory accuracy, with a high school diploma and operation of electric pallet jack/forklift required. Schedule is Mon–Thu 5pm–3:50am.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate basic powered material handling equipment (electric pallet jack, forklift).

Responsibilities

• Perform full-case order picking for replenishment, customer orders, and packaging components.
• Retrieve and put away pallets in narrow aisle bulk rack storage systems.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure transaction accuracy.
• Load and unload pallets and cases from trucks and conveyor lines using equipment or manual handling.
• Sort and build product pallets to meet customer specifications.
• Apply shrink wrap to pallets using machinery.
• Complete pre- and post-equipment checklists to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain accurate storage locations through daily cycle counts and inventory tasks.
• Perform other distribution functions as needed based on business volume and operational needs.
