Job summary

InterPro Recycling is seeking a Day Shift Production Labourer to join our manufacturing operations. This position is physically demanding, requiring work in varying weather and at conveyor picking stations, preparing materials for loading and unloading.

You will collaborate with teammates to maintain clean production areas, assist with equipment maintenance, and support a safe, efficient workflow. No experience is required, though prior scrapyard/auto part exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or CAEC/GED or must pass a comprehension assessment.
• No experience required; scrapyard/auto part environment experience is a plus.
• Able to meet physical demands including standing, lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Willing to work in variable weather and shifts.
• Able to work with minimal supervision and communicate via handheld radio.

Responsibilities

• Clean production areas (shoveling, scraping, sweeping).
• Assist with shop and yard cleanliness by removing debris and picking up metal.
• Clear snow as required.
• Load and unload material and equipment.
• Assist with maintenance and repairs of equipment.
• Pressure wash yard equipment.
• Organize and clean warehousing and parts storage areas.
