Shoppers Drug Mart Inc. in Saskatchewan is seeking a registered nurse to join our pharmacy team, delivering vaccination and health services within the community.

You will take blood samples, assess vaccination status, and provide vaccines including influenza and travel health. Responsibilities include offering services for hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia and anticoagulant therapy, and instructing patients on devices such as glucometers and blood pressure monitors.

Competenze

• Be a member of the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec.
• Hold a DCS or bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Be familiar with the PIQ (Protocole d’immunisation du Québec) and travel health.

Mansioni

• Assess health status and provide vaccines such as influenza and herpes zoster.
• Identify and offer vaccines based on travel destination.
• Offer services for hypertension, diabetes, hypercholesterolemia and anticoagulant therapy.
• Provide instruction on using glucometers and blood pressure devices.
• Welcome patients professionally and work with the pharmacy team to develop nursing services.
