Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a senior-site project leader to drive large-scale data center programs. You will manage client alignment, lead multi-discipline teams, and ensure schedule adherence while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include coordinating with stakeholders, reviewing submittals, and producing comprehensive progress reports. A strong background in CSA/MEP and excellent communication are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 12 years of experience in site-based project management, at least 2 years in data centers.
  • Strong understanding of CSA and MEP.
  • Experience with quality assurance and safety protocols.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Capable of interpreting technical regulations, permits, and environmental standards to assess compliance and identify potential risks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for preparing detailed reports, interacting with stakeholders, and Advanced verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks, particularly for CSA (Civil, Structural, Architectural) works.
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and track contractor submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings.
  • Prepare and submit timely reports including daily logs, weekly updates, and monthly progress summaries.
  • Maintain and update the project risk register and issue logs.
  • Coordinate closely with client operations and other stakeholders to minimize disruption during construction.
  • Facilitate contractor meetings, document minutes, and follow up on action items.

Additional Information

The salary range for this full-time role is $275K - $300K CAD per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
