Job Overview

The DataOps Systems Engineer is responsible for driving impactful data-based projects and analytics to support SCIEX’s growth objectives. With expertise in our systems, software tools, and processes, this person will interpret internal and external business issues and recommend and implement best practices related to data management, reporting, and automation.

This position reports to the Sr. Manager CRM and is part of the Global Commercial Operations and Enablement team. It is a fully remote role.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the GCOE team in evaluating, designing, and implementing predictive analytics tools or projects.
2. Drive automation and continuous efficiency improvements regarding data tools and platforms.
3. Evaluate new technologies, workflows, and options to enhance the team’s ability to deliver data and insights to business leaders for impactful decision-making.

Minimum Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer building production-level software using multiple languages, frameworks, and cloud and database architectures.
• 1+ years of experience in Data Engineering in a senior role.
• 3+ years of leadership experience, building software solutions and data processing algorithms for the auto and home insurance industries.
• 10+ years of experience in computer programming and data analysis, building statistical models using Python, NumPy, Pandas, and MATLAB to reveal actionable insights.
• 3+ years of experience in Cloud architecture and DevOps with Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS.
