Job description

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for deployment, administration, maintenance, and technical support for all database environments.
• Investigates operational or systematic problems using advanced analytics tools to provide resolutions.
• Analyzes database performance issues and recommends tuning changes to improve performance.
• Works closely with development teams and senior architects to design and implement hybrid cloud and cloud-native solutions using Azure infrastructure, platform, and software as a service (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), as well as other cloud-based SaaS tools.
• Collaborates with the Identity & Access Team to provide access and maintain database security.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, with an emphasis on database administration or system administration; or equivalent education and work experience.
• At least 3 years of experience administrating the latest versions of Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Databases.

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART

• Knowledge of other industry databases such as Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Azure Cloud is advantageous.

Salary range: $81,479.00 - $118,145.00, determined based on experience and qualifications, in consideration of internal equity.
