ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) who is technically skilled, detail-oriented, and a proactive problem-solver to join our Engineering and Infrastructure team. The best candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and exceptionally dynamic setting and is excited to optimize, manage, and scale critical database systems supporting our global applications.

Strong database management expertise, cloud platform experience, and SQL proficiency are essential, along with experience in both RDBMS and NoSQL environments. The ability to troubleshoot complex issues, implement high availability solutions, and collaborate effectively with development teams will be key to your success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage RDBMS and NoSQL solutions
• Performance tuning
• Implement and manage replication, high availability, partitioning / sharding
• Assist development teams in creating, optimizing, and problem solve with RDBMS and NoSQL solutions
• Troubleshooting

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience as a Database Administrator
• Expert-level experience with at least one of MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
• Familiarity with other RDBMS or NoSQL solutions
• Strong command of SQL (DDL, DML, DCL)
• Experience with AWS or GCP cloud platforms
• Proficiency in Linux
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• A plus if: Experience with Python or Bash scripting. Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code tooling
