Job summary

Desjardins is seeking a data analyst in Canada to collect, process, analyze, and interpret data from diverse sources to support informed business decisions. You will build complex reports, work with data from multiple databases, and provide guidance to clients on analytics solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience.
• Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of French is required.
• Intermediate knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and identify user needs, work on mandates to collect, process and analyze data, and ensure operationalization through cross-sector coordination
• Build and develop complex reports using database management systems and make recommendations to support decision-making
• Identify opportunities to improve work methods and processes, and recommend improvements to data management tools
• Help clients define their needs, make recommendations and provide advice for selecting, implementing and using data management tools
• Do research and perform descriptive and diagnostic analyses to ensure optimal data use and make recommendations in line with business issues and needs
