Job summary

Desjardins in Montreal, QC invites an actuarial and statistical analyst to help ensure profitability and balanced risk-return ratios for products and services. You will develop tools, models and databases, and provide analyses to inform decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, at least two years of relevant experience, and knowledge of French. We offer a competitive salary with annual bonus, generous vacation, pension, group insurance, telemedicine and telework support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum two years of relevant actuarial experience.
• Knowledge of French is required.
• Other combinations of qualifications may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with your unit’s actuarial development, study, analysis and calculation initiatives.
• Conceptualize and update tools, projection models, databases, systems and products, following up as needed.
• Perform analysis. Prepare reports and recommendations. Provide advice and support for recommendation implementation.
• Help prepare and propose action plans to address issues in accordance with rules and parameters.
• Develop and write methods and processes.
