Job summary

Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) is offering a Winter 2027 Student placement (Jan 2027–Apr 2027) in the Integrated Learning/Co-op program. The successful candidate will be located within Ontario and join an agile team to work on business classification projects.

You will gain hands-on experience analyzing data issues, collaborating with stakeholders, and learning RBC's tools and processes. Flexible work arrangements are supported where available.

Qualifications

• Must-have ability to analyze and resolve data related issues.
• Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven.
• Effective communications skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex data environments and related issues.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Nice-to-have basic working knowledge of SQL Reporting capabilities.
• Effective presentation skills.
• Strong skills in decision-making, analysis of data and information.

Responsibilities

• Gains a working knowledge of RBC’s business classification elements.
• Works with an agile team to achieve project goals related to business classification.
• Collaborates with team members to identify opportunities to enhance processes.
• Responds to inquiries and access requests within standard SLA’s.
• Applies critical thought to existing tools, controls and processes; tests solutions.
