The Hunter Hub for Entrepreneurial Thinking at the University of Calgary seeks a Data & Technology Systems Coordinator to establish sustainable data practices, support dashboards, and improve data flows within a 18‑month fixed term.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operations, you will work across programs, operations, marketing and university partners to deliver reliable insights and scalable data solutions.
The Hunter Hub for Entrepreneurial Thinking (Hunter Hub) under the Office of the President invites applications for a Data & Technology Systems Coordinator. This Full-time Fixed Termposition is for approximately for 18 months (based on length of grant funding), with the possibility of extension.
The Hunter Hub for Entrepreneurial Thinking was created in 2017 through a generous gift from the Hunter Family Foundation. As UCalgary's central community hub for entrepreneurship, the Hunter Hub is advancing the University's vision to be Canada's most entrepreneurial university by helping students, faculty, staff, researchers and community members develop entrepreneurial thinking and pursue opportunities to create meaningful impact.
The Hunter Hub delivers a growing portfolio of programs, events, venture supports and community experiences across the University. As this work continues to scale, so does the volume and complexity of information generated through our programs, participants, events, ventures, partnerships and community engagement. Data currently exists across multiple systems and teams, creating an opportunity to strengthen how information is captured, maintained, connected and translated into useful insights.
The Data & Technology Systems Coordinator will help solve this challenge by establishing practical, consistent and sustainable data practices that enable the Hunter Hub to better understand its community, measure program impact, support decision-making and continuously improve its operations. The role will help bring greater consistency to data collection and management, improve the quality and accessibility of reporting, and support the team in using technology and data more effectively.
This is an opportunity for an emerging data or technology professional to work at the intersection of data, technology, entrepreneurship and higher education. The position will provide hands‑on experience working with program data, reporting systems, dashboards, technology workflows and cross‑functional teams while contributing to the growth of UCalgary's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operations, the Data & Technology Systems Coordinator will work closely with the Hunter Hub leadership team and staff across programs, operations, marketing and communications, as well as partners across the University.
The position normally works Monday to Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M., 7 hours per day (35 hours per week). This position is required to maintain confidentiality regarding University, participant, venture and business information and to exercise a high degree of professionalism in the execution of their duties.
Application Deadline: November 05, 2026
We would like to thank all applicants in advance for submitting your resumes. Please note, only those candidates chosen to continue on through the selection process will be contacted.
This position is part of the AUPE bargaining unit, and falls under the Technical Job Family, Phase 1.
